Skoda vehicles benefit from two types of service to meet the requirements of all customers and additionally have time and age related options for servicing.
Here at V-Hub we will work closely with you to ensure your vehicle receives the best attention at all times.

Long Life Servicing

The Long Life Service is so called because there are no fixed service intervals and depending on how you drive your Skoda, a service will be required anywhere between 10,000 miles or 1 year (whichever occurs first), or up to 20,000 miles or 2 years (whichever occurs first).

The Long Life Service has been made possible thanks to the development of new Volkswagen Audi Group engines using very high specification Long Life oil. These engines have built-in sensors to monitor the oil quality, making it possible to enjoy longer service intervals.

We recommend the Long Life Service if you drive more than 12,000 miles a year, regularly drive long distances, or your car is less than 7 years old.

Time & Distance Servicing

The Skoda Time & Distance Service is a more traditional service regime which takes place every 10,000 miles or 1 year (whichever occurs first).

We recommend this service if you are likely to drive your Skoda less than 10,000 miles in a year, you mainly drive short distances with lots of stopping, starting and cold starts, you drive your Skoda primarily around town, or you enjoy a more ‘sporty’ driving style!

Skoda Cam Belt Kit Replacement

A Cambelt or ‘Timing Belt’ change is one of the most important aspects of maintaining your car, if you neglect it – you could end up needing a new engine.

Skoda recommends that most Skoda engines must have their cambelt changed between every 115,000 miles or 5 years depending on engine type.

Your service manual will tell you the correct mileage for your cambelt change or better still simply give us a quick call or email your query and we will come back to you with your specific vehicle requirements.

Add a Water Pump, Coolant Change and System Flush

This includes:

2 year warranty
Exact dealer specification
VAG approved G12 coolant change
Coolant system flush

Many of the VAG engines have cambelt driven water pumps which are prone to breaking causing engine over heating, possible head gasket failure and severe engine damage.

If your water pump is cambelt driven we recommend you change this at the same time as the cambelt.

In addition this is the ideal time to flush your coolant system and replace with new VAG approved G12 coolant to protect your engine.
