ODIS & erWin – Leading the way with
new diagnostic technology
Since 2014 all new VW Audi Group vehicles (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda
and Bentley) have been built to be compatible only with VW Audi Group’s
ODIS Diagnostics. The ODIS system was developed to make diagnostic
work more interactive: it links directly to the manufacturer’s diagnostic
servers in Germany to guide our technicians through the diagnostic process,
and is now the only way to ensure your vehicle is being diagnosed
effectively and with the latest technology.
erWin is the electronic repair and workshop information service from
VW Audi Group. It provides our technicians with original Audi, VW, Seat
and Skoda workshop manuals and informs them in real-time of the
requirements, tools and materials required.
ADAS Calibration
ADAS calibration (and recalibration) is the precise physical alignment,
testing, and electronic aiming of sensors that collect data to inform your
vehicle’s advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), like forward
collision warning (FCW), lane departure warning (LDW), automatic
emergency braking (AEB), and several others.
In a brand new vehicle, ADAS sensors are professionally set in their
factory standard positions. All sensors point in the same, precise place.
But, throughout a vehicle’s life, things happen that cause sensors to
come out of alignment – collisions, minor fender benders, and adjacent
repairs or parts replacement. For example, vehicles with a windshield-
mounted ADAS camera will require calibration after windshield replacement.
